Since we came back from holidays, I’ve had the time to catch up a little on reading the posts of the blogs I follow. There were so many great ones that I decided to share my favorite picks with you. You know me, I love color, and those posts all have color in common.
Elodie of Madame Love is expecting a little girl any day now and just revealed her nursery. She didn’t want a pink nursery and has achieved a beautiful little girl’s nursery in shades of blue and grey with loving details and handcrafted projects disseminated through the room.
Gudy is a professional interiors stylist and blogs about interiors and trends on Eclectic Trends. She created a beautiful color palette for September based on her own sensibility and experience. I love her images and the color association she came up with although I usually don’t like those peachy colors. So this is another lesson learned: don’t discard a color you don’t like as it is all about finding the right combination.
Emily Blincoe is a freelance photographer whose work I’ve just discovered thanks to Pinterest. The picture you see above is part of her Garden Collection, a set of eight flower composition pictures done by color. The result is absolutely stunning and prints of her work can be purchased in her Etsy store.
I wish you a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We are off for the week, but for once I have actually managed to schedule posts for you. (much easier with a good internet connection).
