I am behind schedule on my new blog column about Decorating with color. So instead of just leaving you sitting in anticipation I thought that I could at least share with you some great design in the meantime. I always find that great lighting is the most difficult to source. Lighting is by essence utilitarian but its design can make or break a room. When I saw that the “Orbito” rattan suspensions designed by Tomoko Mizu for Vittorio Bonacina came in those great shades of primary colors I thought that this was certainly a piece of lighting that would create a beautiful focal point in any room. I love the soft lines of the rattan and the apparent light bulb half hidden behind it.
Which color is your favorite one?
