It’s the fourth of July and the United States Independence day today. Having lived almost 5 years in the USA, I remember with a lot of fun the anticipation, the fireworks and the laid back atmosphere of barbecues. So to you my American friends, Happy 4th of July!
And since this blog is about interior design, have a look at this lovely room combining red, white and blue, the colors of the American flag (as well as a few others in the world). Combining those primary colors isn’t an easy exercise and can get messy in no time. This room keeps it simple, with red and blue being used separately on each side of it and white serving as transition between them. The result is fresh and modern. It feels like a summer rental flat to me where I’d love to relax and read a good old paperback.
Enjoy your long weekend!
