Fiona Curran for The Rug Company

I was searching for a specific type of carpets and as usual when on the web, one thing led to another. I ended up looking at totally different things and found a wealth of designs and projects I now need to share with you. So you’ll see plenty of carpets in the next days. Fiona Curran‘s collection for The Rug Company isn’t exactly recent as she worked on it back in 2008, but I don’t believe that only novelties are good enough to be written about. There are plenty of textile designs or collections that are still bestsellers after years on the market. So here the three out of her four designs that I like most. I hope you like them too. In order of appearance Zap, Abacus and Palette:

Aren’t those a great way to introduce color in a room? I love how Zap is combined with minimalist furniture and Palette with a classic wooden secretaire while keeping the walls neutral in both rooms. Do you have colorful carpets in your home? Which carpet styles do you like most or would you like to purchase?
