Colors of Mechelen

Hello everyone. I had quite a busy day as I did a color consult this morning in the town of Mechelen (Malines) situated half way between Brussels and Antwerpen. Since I had heard quite a bit about the history of the town, I decided to take a stroll downtown and indeed it was gorgeous. I especially loved the colorful old doors I encountered during my stroll through town.

But color was also to be found in flowers, children shoe store window, or in the bomb yarning that had taken place next to the cathedral. Here is a small roundup:

  • I am loving all those colors. As much as I like the fresh clean colors right now, I am still drawn to those earth tones. It’s funny that you mention yarn bombing because I just learned about it this weekend and wrote a post about it.
