I have been following Caroline Gomez on Instagram for quite a while, but I only realized recently that some images I had seen on Pinterest were of her home in Bordeaux. Caroline is a designer in the broad sense: she has been working on many projects including art direction, photography, object creation, magazine and city guides. Her home is light filled, colorful and playful. Originally a jukeboxes repair shop from the 30’s, Caroline and her husband renovated it during six months with the help of their family. The furniture is a mix of vintage Scandinavian pieces with modern classics.
As you can see the color palette is made up of a wide range of pretty pastels which work perfectly together in combination with the many spaces that have been left white. Although this color palette is not one I would have in my own house, I admire how she used color intelligently to define specific areas in the large open living space. How do you like it? Do you want to see more pictures? Well you are in for a treat because I have plenty of pictures to illustrate this house tour.
I wish you a great start into this new week. May it be as colorful as this post!
